Looks like the pesky Pacific Storm season is prepping to stir things up on the Cali coast this coming weekend.

My daughter and I were planning on a Afternoon Dive and then a Night Dive on Sunday in Laguna. Im guessing that will be squashed due to surf and visibility. I don't really concern with surf, we can get through that. I am more concerned with the lack of visibility.

I was wondering, I have only dove LaJolla once and that was like 25 years ago..
How have the Pacific Storm patterns been affecting the conditions in SanDiego?

Also, being LaborDay Weekend, I can only imagine parking will be a disaster all its own.

Any thoughts, suggestion, advice?

Thank you,

Weekend conditions look to be calm all over SoCal. I think you'll be OK.

To expand on this, the current swell is directly from the south. It is currently hitting Orange County and parts of LA with large waves. However, San Diego is largely protected from south swells, so we're being spared. The waves are touch bigger than normal, but nothing extreme.

The current swell event will subside by Saturday, both here in San Diego and further north. Look here for swell forecasts:
