I have only camped at Whitestar once a couple of weeks ago, and that weekend there were about 8 campsites occupied....what are the chances of getting a camp site on Labor Day weekend....will it be a total mad house, or is it do-able?

Thanks!

contact rich synewieck(sp) From Divers incorporated. He runs the dive shop portion of white star. Im sure though, he would know the ins and out of crowds at the campsites.

A year ago on Labor day the crowds weren't too bad, so I would think you should be able to get a site

There should be plenty of campsites available... there has been in past years. There is a big event on quarry property that weekend at the barn but they have camping over there that weekend. the only shortage may be the hookup camp sites... get there friday and you should be laughin' if you call on saturday I can let you know what I see down there.

White Star was awesome this weekend, we couldn't get there until Sunday morning, but we dove both Sunday and Today.

It didn't even seem busy, and we didn't even wait to get our tanks full. Viz was good, and the water was great!

We had some great dive neighbors, that gave us some type of rubber mat to lay down, instead of a tarp, and it is great.

Then Sunday night, we got pizza and took it back to the camp site, and ate it by the camp fire, I don't think it gets much better than that!

We did that too on Sunday Night... Pizza by the fire must have been a theme... glad you came by and glad you had fun!

See you again soon!

Rich
