Hi Chaps

We're in KK and t be honest a bit bored, hitting Sipidan on the 5th September.

We're going to get the ferry to Labaun tomorrow to check out he wreck diving, what's it like, worth the trip?

Thanks

There's 4 nice wrecks in labuan; quite interesting; have dove 3 of them, currents can be very strong but means big fish.
Have you made any contact with dive center there?
It's easier to arrange dive trip to labuan wrecks from Brunei or KK rather than visit labuan to find the dive center there.

Tried to get on the 1.30pm ferry today, fully booked so bought a ticket for the 8.00am tomorrow. I haven't contacted any dive centers and only just read your post, damn didn't think of just going from here. Maybe i'll carry on from Brunei if i get there and it proves tricky.

Where did you base yourself from?

I only konw 1 dive center at Labuhan International Sea Sport Complex - they always closed everytime we visited them on weekend or during labuhan water festival.

I dove labuhan when I lived in Brunei, using Brunei based dive operators ie. scuba tech
It only took 40 minute form Brunei Muara to reach the wrecks without touching the island.
I don't think scuba tech still exist now, but there's another dive center - please try to contact Oceanic Quest
wish you luck

I've been speaking to a guy here.

Absolute Air Scuba Sdn. Bhd.

Quite expensive diving though. 2 wrecks 350MYR.

Slight problem is i stacked it today, toes have swelled up and black and blue, can't see me getting a fin on
