La Paz or Cabo Pulmo in October for relatively new divers

You can't go wrong with Trevor and his crew at Baja Connections (formerly solitude divers) in La Paz. Very accommodating and experienced underwater naturalists. Since its whaleshark season all of you will be able to snorkel with whalesharks and then dive with some other big boys. Have fun!

I just came back from La Paz and San Jose del Cabo. Dove with Trevor from Baja Connections for three days up in La Paz and East Cape Explorers for a day in San Jose. I would have liked to dive Cabo Pulmo for sure but things did not work out for that. I would recommend both operators I used for all levels of divers and the La Paz dives in particular were great for the sea lions and even got to swim with a whale shark too. Posted my reports.
