Anyone have any up to date advice about dive shops in La Paz? Info on here seems out of date now and there seem to be quite mixed reviews out there. Thanks!

We are diving with Club Cantamar in early October with our LDS. I will let you know. I couldn't find much info either, and most of what I found wasn't very good.

We're going in the last week of October with Fun Baja based on recommendations from our LDS as well as friends who've been going there for the last 10 years.
I was also looking at Baja Ex but our friends recommended against it due to a spotty record for their boats as well as some accidents they've had. I haven't seen or read anything about this myself, just taking their word for it since they own a vacation house there and go there a few times every year.

We're diving with Cortez Club next February. I had a very good experience with them about five years ago and decided to be a return customer.
I dove with the Cortez Club for three weeks last November, and previously dove with them in 2007. They're the most expensive of all the ops in La Paz, but they run a good show. Price is understandable when you consider the distance they need to run their boats to get to some of the dive sites.
