My daughter is really getting into making videos. She uses her Canon S90 and has made some nice underwater videos. One of particular interest to me is one where I was surfacing and a sea snake is going right up behind me to breath. Sometime ignorance truly is bliss. Well for Christmas I got her the GoPro Hero package deal directly from GoPros site. This video camera seems to be a nice fit with her other activates she likes to do, such as snowboard and ride motorcycles. About a day later I discovered that for underwater video with the GoPro it is best to use the BlurFix and some URPRO UW filters.
I had seen AquaPro HD on SB (of course after I purchased my camera directly form GoPro) and read many posts about the Blurfix adapter and URPRO filters. When I decided to purchase the Blurfix and URPRO filters, I went to AquaPro only to discover that for internet purchases they are set up with PayPal. I have had bad experiences with PayPal, but that is another story.
I called AquaPro HD directly and spoke with William. Since I am a governmental contractor working in the Middle East, it was a little challenging with the time differences.
What I would like to say is thanks to Williams great customer service, my daughter will get the Blurfix with filters in time for Christmas. It took several days to arrange the final order, but he was patient with me and I felt went the extra mile to ensure the purchase will be delivered prior to the big day.
My only regret is that I learned about AquaPro HD after I bought the camera; otherwise I would have loved to offered AquaPro my entire business and bought the GoPro Hero package with the Blurfix and filters from them.
Thanks to the many SB members who recommended both the GoPRo Camera and the Blurfix/URPRO filter system. I think she (and I) will get a lot of use out of this came.
Again my Kudos to William at AquaPro...job well done sir. :dancingsnoopy:
