GoPro Replacement?

For a computer user, just take out the SD card and pop it into your computer, using a card adaptor or reader if necessary. Edit with your software of choice.
The problem I have is that my preferred software of choice is Quik, GoPro's proprietary software, which is no longer supported for older non-wifi/Bluetooth models. I bit the bullet and bought a GoPro13. Now I just need to find time to do some editing!
 
For those looking for other video editing software, I recently moved to Shotcut - multiplatform, open source freeware. I was using Corel VideoStudio and I find Shotcut pretty intuitive. Doesn't have as many fancy options (e.g., I think just crossfade for transitions - but that's what I always use, so no problem for me).
