Is the 7 really not on Wifi? I just pulled out my old Hero 4 Silver, shot a video clip, connected to it with the app, and did a quick edit on it using the GoPro Quik app v10.20.1 released on iPhone about 3 weeks ago. Never had any subscription...

If that's supported, I can't see why the 7 would not be...
