Just thought I would throw a big Internet hug Stella's way for performance above and beyond the call of duty this past weekend.
We dived at Rock Lake all day Thursday and finished the day with some significant gas needs. We gave her a call, and she said she would meet us at her "shop" at 7:00 PM. The filling was not completed until about 10:00 PM.
On Friday we got done a little earlier, and our needs were not quite as great. Unfortunately, it was also snowing heavily. We were blending tanks in the parking lot while she filled the first ones we brought. The wet snow covered us and our gear as we worked. We managed to get done at a more reasonable hour: 7:30 PM.
Saturday was much more normal, and it was not much past 6:00 PM when we were done.
We had a lot of people doing a lot of diving, with a very complicated schedule to get everything done to meet our diving goals. It is remarkable that she went out of her way as much as she did to accommodate our needs.
I hope everyone appreciates what a great resource she is.
