After much research and cogitation and borrowing and trying undergarments, I bought a Diving Concepts non-stretch Thinsulate 200 undergarment, and dove it for the first time today. I was disappointed . . . my arms got cold.
But since I was diving with a friend who was doing her first dive after OW, had severe troubles descending, ended up on her back and needed my assistance -- repeatedly -- to get herself righted, I'm not surprised that my wrist seals leaked and the garment ended up COMPLETELY SOAKED from the wrists to the elbows. Which was, of course, exactly where I was cold.
The rest of me was TOASTY. If you don't know me, you don't know what that means. It means this garment is amazing.
