Does anyone have any insight into the key differences between the Kubi system and the Santi SmartGloves systems and pros/cons of each? Is one better than the other? Also, would also be interested in hearing from folks who have/are using them (e.g., Is it easy to snap on/off, etc?)

I recall that you can only get the Santi system if you get a Santi suit.

KubI:
+ small, doesn't cover all your wrist
+ unbreakable
- can get off underwater
- fitting Showa's quite tricky
SmartGloves:
+ unbreakable
+ does not get off underwater
- bulky
- lubricate them every dive otherwise might get out of the sleave when donning
- difficult to see if it is correctly fitted
- fitting Showa's quite tricky

What suit are you having then put on? Are you installing them on wrist seals or having suit side glued in? Kubi are bulletproof, just leave a little extra room on the glove so if you reach beyond the length of your sleeve you won't pop the ring off (it's happened to 2 people that's I've read about). Mine have never popped off and I'm a handsy diver reaching and grabbing at stuff all the time. With Kubi you don't have to concern yourself with getting the glove aligned perfectly in the ring because it doesn't clock, just put it on and press the rings together.

On a Santi. Glued in. Sometimes when juggling with stages and scooter it pops off. And indeed, you should leave a little extra room on the glove. I prefer the Kubi's above the Santi system. The Santi system is very sensitive to good mounting. But once on, they never get off.

Rolock:
-/+medium size
+unbreakable
+rarely require lube (+50 dives)
+can't pop off
+fit on QCS oval cuffs
+trivial to replace gloves
+simple to don and doff
+not expensive
-some people find indexing them difficult but I haven't

I've used a variety of systems, this is the only I'd buy again.

Santi all the way - that's literally the best dry glove system so far.
Not cheap (since Santi suits are expensive haha) - but works great.
