Krabi vs Phi Phi

Hi,
need some thoughts on Krabi vs Phi Phi? I hear both are beautiful. But I am looking for a kid friendly place so that I can dive while the kids can perhaps enjoy a kid camp? my older one 5yr likes to snorkel.

Krabi also seems to have flights from bangkok which is another plus?

I think Krabi might be a better bet, just because it's more accessible with Krabi airport nearby and has a bigger choice of accommodation - with Phi Phi you'd need to fly into Krabi or Phuket and then get a boat out to the island, which adds another few hours to your trip.

Also, by staying in Krabi you can have it both ways and go to Phi Phi on a daytrip.
