Koh Usen and Talang Wall.
We set off well past 11:00 as the site is less than 5mins away. Vis was not that great.
Talang Wall.
These two dives were not as good as yesterday, probably we had been spoiled. Anyway, it was still enjoyable.
We saw a group of squid toward the end of the second dive. I joked with one of our fellow diver from Spain afterward: calameres en su tinta!
Breakfast: Nasi lemak + roti.

Heavy shower in the morning and I had to remove the shoes to wade through ankle deep water back to the hotel after breakfast at that Malaysian restaurant.

7 Rocks and Anemone

Cuttle fish, several small frog fish and plenty of nudi etc etc. Tiger tailed sea horse has been spotted in various area.

No. Went to Koh Yang x4(East, West and Big Rock) last year and not interesting at all. However, conditions this year is much better than last.
Tomorrow is my last diving day, schedule is Waterfall and Stonehenge.
The speed boat of the dive shop has certain issue so 8 Mile Rock is off.
Planning a quick return to Lanta and Lipe this coming Nov.

Having lost our cat last year, I’m under mounting pressure from SHMBO not to do diving holidays. But I’ll bare your future dates in mind.

I already have a HKG - HKT return ticket for this Nov 05-15. The plan was Lanta only but will purchase a separated single from HKT to HKG so as to extend my stay to around 21st Nov. Having seen the equipment provided by both operators, I will leave the heavy stuff at home. 7kg is adequate.

Last diving day of the trip.
Waterfall and Stonehenge.
Waterfall is straightly not suitable to beginner or anyone who still insist on bicycle kick or uncontrollable flutter kick. Frog kick is the best or half flutter. The dive is on sandy bottom at about 17m. Magnifying glass and a torch will be extremely helpful.
Stonehenge needs no introduction.

8 dives with own equipment was B9,600.00.

Speed boat ticket to Langkawi is B1,300.00.

Lanta vs Lipe
Two different places and the underwater topography is also very different. Sites in Lanta are quite a distance away while all the sites that I dived in Lipe are the complete opposite. The operator that I used in Lanta only offer max of 3 dives a day on select locations while in Lipe it is about 5 including night dive.

Buyer beware!
I thought I had bought Bundhaya 10:30 ferry to Langkawi Kuah Jetty tomorrow. Checked the ferry schedule on line 30mins ago and no one was offering the 10:30 schedule!! The hotel I am staying was so kind to call Bundhaya and found out that there is ONLY one sailing at 13:00 tomorrow. Went back to the travel agent and after a brief phone exchange, full refund was given.
Bought the 13:00 ticket from another operator.
