I had a partial knee replacement on Oct 18. The knee is doing great -- feels much better than before the sugery and I can take stairs (and kick) much more easily now. I have also lost 30 pounds and 23 inches since May with diet and a personal trainer.

I am going to Lanai, HI on the 21st of this month. Is it too soon to dive there?

Does anyone know if the diving is good there?

There are no known relationships between prosthetics and DCS. However, any residual pain could be confused for joint bends.

Two of my regular dive buddies just got back the diving was good. It is winter there so the currents can be a little bad this time of year it is more of a swell from what they discribed. One min you are looking at a fish next you are 10' away The vis was ok they were there for 18 days and 9 days each. The corsair picture was taken by jb. The wreck is near the island of Oahu. The pic is black and white.
