I'm having an issue with my knee I can't quite sort out and I was wondering if anyone has had anything similar. I have had a torn meniscus in my right knee but it healed without surgery, and I have dove many times since. I was in our pool just testing equipment wearing some avanti quattro fins. After just a minute my leg started to feel cramps. I got out of the pool and my knee was extremely painful, it was all I could do to hop around. I put ice on it and the next morning it was totally fine.
I gave it 6 weeks or so and tried snorkeling using some scuba pro jet fins, I was thinking the shorter fin might put less stress on the joint. I felt it starting up so stopped earlier but same problem. While I do have some occasional knee twinges, I'm fine the rest of the time.
Just curious if anyone else had experienced this or had any advice

Try changing your kick style, if you're fluttering try frogging and vice versa.
