Any thoughts, experience or opinions regarding the Kirby-Morgan M48 / JMC Supermask?

It's possibly a bit late to ask as I already bought one. I liked the idea of a full face mask that will allow deco gas switches, emergency gas switches, etc without having to switch masks.

But I have not gotten to dive it yet - at least not deeper than the bottom of the hot tub and I am wondering if there are any problems that are not immediately obvious in real world use.

I am also wondering what parts may be prone to breakage and what parts would be worth stocking in a spares kit.

No real problems with the mask, it was designed for the applications you mention. The only parts that I've seen break are the buckles. Other than that, it's a fairly robust mask. Did you get it with or without the superflow second stage?

I got it without the superflow second stage, since I am very long on second stages already and also would prefer to stick with something I can service and get parts for. I am a long way from the nearest Kirby-Morgan dealer.
