It's addictive, but who cares?!?!?

Good friends and good info. What could be better???

P.S. - If you have not already done so, please fill out your profile.

It is great to have a wealth of knowledge as yours on this board. I know we will grow from your experiences. I just hope we have something to give back to you.

Howdy!

I want to join the others in welcoming you to SB. I looked at a few of your photos, and even though they take a long time to load on dial-up, it was worth it. Marvelous work. How many Scuba Sherpas does it take to carry your photo gear around in the water.

Hi Don, thanks for the kind words.

Sherpas? I wish!, when I used to teach the PADI course I had my students fooled into doing just that, now I have to do it myself, actually I use 30 ft/10m hang lines if I am using more than one rig on the dive.

will try to check out the rec scuba section as well

Chris Bangs:
Hello

I have been lurking for a while and have finally come out of the dark so to speak.

I am an underwater photographer and have been shooting for almost 10 years, some of my projects include working with other photographers like David Hall, ( ocean Realm, Rodales ) and more recently working with Wyland. also have done some work on projects for the Discovery Channel and The History Channel. I can't write worth beans, therefore you haven't seen any thing from me in DIve mags. :D

I love photography and I like to teach as well, therefore I am trying my best to get involved and help those just getting their feet wet in UW photography

Check out my gallery, and jump in on some photo discussions, feel free to send private messages as well regarding some specific questions but it is better for all if the questions are posted in the forum

enough babbling

Chris

Hi Chris,

Photography is one of my greatest loves. Besides my film cameras (Canon T70 and AE), I just purchased the Canon Digital Rebel. I'm having a great time taking photo's above the water and hope to get into UW Photography.

I will be obtaining my OW Cert. in September.

With your UW Photography experience, I look forward to learning from you.

Welcome to the SB.

Pam
