Key West dive shop?

I'm headed to Key West this weekend (specifically Key West, can't head to Largo, which I realize is preferable) and am looking for a dive operator/LDS from there. Any suggestions as to who's the best?

We went with Lost Reef dive shop. Great team and dives. Location off Caroline Street by the Turtle Kraals. Would recommend them again.

There was also a dive op hut by the Conch Republic restaurant on the marina with a boat out front. Mostly beginners and snorkelers, was disappointed with the dives they took us to.

Bonzai divers (located on Atlantic side of Duval) seemed OK, but guy cancelled on us for no real reason, citing the weather ----
then we called Lost Reef and they took us out on short notice and the diving was great.

Lost Reef - my recommendation!

Jim Wyatt is great and you will not be disapointed, he will take you to the best spots to go diving.

They are at M.M.21 its only a 20 min drive from K.W.

Dove with Captain Peter in March. Had a great time and was impresseed with his professional approach to diving. Small boat, early departure and personal attention were all excellent

Check out Lost Reef Adventures, Mom & Pop local owned outfit, oldest dive shop in KW
MV Dream 43' LOA 12' beam. Max 16 divers, most of the time 10-12. Easy to dive from, deck 6" above dive platform, dive platform 6" off of water

If Bonsai cancelled for weather then you can bet the forecast was unfavorable. Lost Reef runs a larger boat and the weather was probably better than forecast. Give Bonsai another chance and you won't be disappointed.
