My Wife and I just booked a trip to dive the keys for our 5th anniversary. We are looking for good recommendations for good dive operators in Key west and Key Largo in September.

Hi jayaspock. You will love the Keys - very laid back and the diving is great! We have been diving in Key Largo for the last 10 years and really consider it our dive "home" in the USA.

On our first trip there, we discovered Rainbow Reef Dive Center Scuba Diving Florida Keys | Rainbow Reef Dive Center | Key Largo, FL We have been diving with them since then. Early on, we decided to attain our advanced certification with Rainbow Reef. We were the first students of brand new instructor Bill Findley, who is now one of two PADI PLATINUM Course Directors at Rainbow Reef. We have learned lots from RRDC in our dives since that time and they have made us better divers.

They offer both morning and afternoon 2-tank boat trips. You have your choice of the shallow boat, which visits reef sites, or the deep boat, which generally visits the famous wrecks of Key Largo. Their schedule is listed on the website. Another consideration is that they provide dive guides at no additional charge. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to you.

Have fun in the Keys!
