I just don't log dives
marine forecast, well, not so accurate this morning offshore the upper keys. sunshine, SE winds 10-14KTS, seas 2-3FT(joined Mario/tatyana on their larger vessel). the wrecks duane, bibb and SG had marginal conditions(mdt+ current and crap visibility) so we elected to head towards MOLASSES. 1st dive: deep buoy M28, mdt/strong tidal flow, blue viz 55-60FT, water temp 85F @ 50-75FT, nothing special and somewhat of a struggle fighting current. relocated inshore to northern MOLASSES inorder to mitigate the strong NE current, shallow buoy M9(eagle ray alley, logans run, winch hole, hole in the wall): light current, blue viz increasing to 70FT, 85F @ 25-40FT. lots of subjects, fun dive! wide angle pics from timg,,,,,,,,,,,,,

pics 1 thru 3 deep MO

Species question - in the last pic, that school of jacks, are those horse-eye jacks? I tend to assume the ones I see in Bonaire that are so much like that are (due to that being what shows on the Franko I.D. card I've got), but I've been wondering just how likely roughly 2 foot jacks with 'that look' in the Caribbean are to be horse-eye jacks.

Nice one of that 1st green moray in particular.

Richard.

P.S. - Comments relate to pics in 1st post.

Thank you Richard. Yes horse eye jacks have that distinctive yellow tail.
