I will be attending the Responsible Care Conference in Miami in May. My wife and I will be going down to Tavernier Key May 3 through the 6th and I want to get a couple of dives in. Anyone interested in a dive Buddy aroound that time?

My dive buddy and I are diving with HMS Minnow (6 pack) May 4 through the 7th. We're relatively inexperienced compared to you, but you're certainly welcome to tag along.

Thanks for the invite. I have a Nitrox Checkout Dive chartered with Conch Republic on 5/5 but I may join you for one of the other dives. Are you doing mornings or afternoons?

Mornings and possibly a night dive thrown in there, somewhere.

I am definitely interested in a night dive. What kind of diving are you going to be doing? Reefs, wrecks,

We're doing a combo of wrecks and reefs for the morning dives, but I'm not sure about the night dive. Just depends on conditions, I guess.

Allen, FYI.... PADI just removed the check-out dives from the requirement for the Nitrox class. So you aren't required to do them as part of your Nitrox certification anymore. (not that doing them wouldn't be a good idea anyway, but that's a whole different thread to argue that in.). Just FYI so you'll know that you're not "locked in" to doing the checkout dives.

for more information about not having to do the dives, see http://www.divesports.com/articles/EANnodiverequirements.htm
