Hi!

One week from Friday I'm headed to Key Largo for my first OW dive trip and to complete my PADI certification.

I'm using a referral from an Atlanta dive shop. It appears that dive shops charge anywhere from $150-250 for checkout dives.

The one that charges only $150 is Sea Dwellers. Does anyone have any experience with them? A place called Quiescence only charges $170 "plus instructor fees, equipment, and c-card processing".

If anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them!!

Thanks!

Joni

Quiesense is, in my opinion, the best shop in KL. Sea Dwellers is also reputable. They have a nice boat (large boat) and are good people.

At the LDS here in Canton, Ohio I'm only paying $110 each for myself and my son to do our check out dive.
Of course it's a weekend long event. But HEY! We'll be diving.

(And to think I was complaining about the cost in another post. guess I have egg on my face now)
