My buddy is going to Key Largo to dive the Speigel (sp.) and looking for any hot tips ya'll can dish out.

TIA:D

I am a key largo local, and have 80+ dives on the speigel. Its a great dive. Dont go to the sand, there isnt much to see and it kills your bottom time. Every now and then there is a big jewish down there, but he also hangs out near the top propeller (about 75ft). Whomever you dive with, you may want to think about getting a dive guide the first trip. They know most of the ins and outs to the wreck (swimthroughs and what not). If you've not already booked a boat, try dive-in, www.diveinflkeys.com. They are a small six pack, but its a brand new twin hull fast cat. very nice operation.

Thanx guys he's off to do some diving with good tips, and that video was cool too.:)
