I begin this process with notes sketched out in my paper log book. Then I use those notes to transfer my log to Diving Log 6.0. This is a dive log software which has a wildlife section where you can search various internet databases (already connected to the software) and mark any wildlife from your dive with photos and scientific and anecdotal data.
