Hello

I am going to Kauai, HI for two weeks starting mid April and I plan to do some diving while I am there and I am looking for some recommendations.

At the moment I am undecided if I will be staying on the north shore, south shore or split my time between the two.

The last time I was there I dove with SeaSport Divers (south shore) and was very happy with the service. If I stay in the south I will probably dive with them again, unless someone here has a better recommendation.

However, I have no idea about dive shops on the north shore. Does anyone have any recommendations for north shore dive shops?

Thanks in advance,

Tony

Aloha Tony!

Currently there are not any true "shops" on the north shore. After leaving Kapaa's SeaSport Divers shop - you are on your own. All the primary diving is done to the south and only one spot is dove on the north shore with any regularity. Tunnels beach is a topography/lava tube dive that I believe is still done exclusively from the shore. It is a seasonal dive location that will likely start to be available to divers again in April.

Hope this helps!
