Wow...its been years since I've posted on Scubaboard and I've taken a sabbatical from diving, but its time to get back into it! I'm going to Hawai'i for work and I'm taking some vacation time in the beginning of March on Kauai. I figured what better place/time to get back into the diving spirit.
Anyone have any suggestions for diving Kauai in March? Shore dives, boat dives? Suggested shops? I think I'm a little early for Niihau. I know its whale season and still kind of the winter there, but it sure beats the hell out of the snow here in Boston!
Anyone have any thoughts on bringing equipment on a trip like this? This would be my first warm water trip...is it even worth bringing my gear or should I just rent?
