Ya'll just have kangaroos all over the place....same as we have our horse tied to a rail in front of the house! LOL!

Come on out to Twin Lakes with us!

We have only dived intermittently for the past few years but we decided to get back into it - bought a TON of new gear and then I got severe sinus problems (reverse squeeze...).

As soon as I am free of specialists and drugs (and possibly ops)we will be down to Twin lakes to get back in shape!

I learned to dive in France with Henri Cosquer at Le centre Cassidean de Plongee which seems to have changed its name

but my wife Janaki was certified at PDA. We used to live opposite the small reef at the south end of Cottesloe beach

and could get geared up in the living room, walk across the road and go diving. Got to know the 'locals' pretty well especially a small blennie on a column at the south end of the reef - boy do I miss those days...... Used to see a few small sharks there but the most memorable day was when we saw a leafy sea dragon in the wild - awsome!

We also used to go to Rottnest a bit - I remember a dive on the West end with surfers going over our heads - buddy got sick underwater though.

Been in Texas for nine years now. working in the offshore diving business (robotics).

Janaki is doing well as a local artist

Wow, Its good to see a few of the old Haunts named on this board.

I spent many days as a younger lad at the OBH. I may have even passed out on your front lawn at one point!

One of my associates is presently building a new place on the North Cott foreshore, Demo'd an older place and started a few weeks ago.

A Leafy at Cott??? Wow you must have been awestruck.
I worked with them at Underwater World Aquarium for a few years, in the early days, Very sensitive creature, But great to watch.

Thanks For the Memories, Boy Id love to have a lunch at the North Cott Cafe sometime again soon.!! I really miss that place

Regards Dave
