I thought I would come in here and say hi. I just signed onto this board last night and am slowly reading my way through. I looked at a few boards but this one is reminiscent of another I'm on so I like it.

I finished my OW on June 1st and to date I have 22 dives, hopefully I'll be adding a couple more this weekend. Most of them in the St Lawrence river, a few in Lake Ontario.

Does it show that I'm loving this? I hope to pick up some tips & info from all of you.

~the guys call me scuba chick, is that bad?:D

Thanks Jeff!

I'm not & they don't.;)

welcome aboard!

if your'e diving up st lawrence/kingston/brockville way, let me know, there are a few of us around here ;)

canuckdiver,

I am & I do.:D

I think I'll go in & adjust my profile, Ontario is pretty big after all.

With the exception of some quarry check out dives all of mine have been in the St Lawrence or Lake Ontario. Hoping for a couple more Monday! lol

I'm new as well here. I started diving just this year and only have a few dives. I live near Kingston if anyone wants to go out!

Chick? I thought that label disappeared in the early 70's? I wouldn't call a woman a chick unless it was in jest. Chicks are for eating (once they grow up) or for "crossing the road" jokes. Is that sufficiently politically correct?

Not sure what similar label is used today. I call the women I know by their first names (unless we develop a sweet endearing nickname).

Dr. Bill
