I wanted to dismiss any rumors about Cozumel. I spent a week there last week and things are up and running. Most of the major resorts are getting back to normal, if they already aren't there. the diving is almost as spectacular as it has ever been. Some of the shallow dives are still covered with sand, however much of the marine life is back and thriving.

It should still be considered one of the premier places to dive in the world. I have heard a lot of discussion that it is not what it use to be and this is totally untrue.

That's always good to hear that things are getting back on track. I can't wait to get back there myself in July.

Where did you stay? Any pics?

Not sure when my next trip to Cozumel will be. Hopefully the wife and I get to go pretty soon, although she may be saving up her vacation to go to Panama during December for about 2 weeks or so.

94GTStang you and Ash better start saving for some Panama plane tickets my friend... I got your lodging covered (while in Panama City anyways )

We were just talking about it last night for that matter. Money won't be a problem once I get my car paid off.

sweet...

Just let us know, late december/early january is a great time to go. The estimates of about $1500-$1750 per person for damn near 14 days is pretty close to what it would run..

Anywho..

sorry for whoring out the thread with our sidetalk, im used to it from okdhm :D

that 1500 doesn't include the airfare does it? I have the write up but it's at home. Give me some dates and I'll see what I can swing
