Wanting to introduce myself to get some posts to enable DMs to buy some camera gear! I started diving with my LDS in 2018 after an awesome Discover Scuba, great even though it was just in a pool! Got my girlfriend (now fiancee) into it the same way, and we've gone to Cozumel and Roatan already.

After my first trip in 2019, I immediately came back and got my own equipment, and thankfully, the shop owner put me right in a backplate and wing, which I now am very happy he did. I've done my training with PADI but not gonna lie, the GUE Fundamentals course is calling my name... I just have to learn how to swim better :)

You're in very fine company Jimmy Carter just passed 100 too

Congrats on hitting 100 dives! The backplate and wing was a great call early on. GUE Fundamentals is an awesome course - challenging but totally worth it. Keep diving and enjoying those amazing Caribbean trips! 🤿🌊

Thanks everyone! I just saw a Going! deal (previously scott's cheap flights) to Hawaii for September, so hopefully we'll see the manta rays at night soon! Have to get the fiancee aOW certified locally maybe this summer?
