Hello all!

I am a 26 year old from the US originally, but lives in Tokyo now, and not military nor English teacher (thank god).
Finally stepped up and got my OW last week in Chiba, after seeing the announcement of the anime Grand Blue season 2.
Will most likely be diving in the Izu Peninsula for the majority of my residence in Tokyo!
Heres to many more years of diving!

PS.
prices in Japan sucks, somehow even Japanese brands like Tusa or Gull are more expensive, unless I'm just not looking in the right places

I've seen a lot of really good deals on Yaj and Mercari for dive gear. Well worth looking into it yourself if you want to invest in a kit.

Welcome! Do you have any recommendations for boats or dive outfits in Tokyo?
I havent bought much kit yet, so I cant comment on how good they are, but I've heard Helei Waho are very good for cost-performance, theyre the in-house brand of a shop called AQROS in Ikebukuro.
I've also seen plenty of people wearing Mobby's and Gull
