It is a poseidon jetstream. It has xtreme 1st stage and a jetstream 2nd stage and a jetstream octo. I will share my thoughts when I use it 4 weeks from now.
I have a question though, at the top of the first stage there seems to be a spring inside with a metal plate that can be screwed/unscrewed using the tool which I used to remove the LP screw to attach the hoses. When this above plate is screwed it starts to get off its place as if pushed by the spring... honestly I didn't dare to get it off completely so I just screwed it back to its place... any idea what is this part? did I do anything wrong to my new reg? :shocked2:

did you touch (unscrew) the top one or only the LP ones? if you only did the LP screws and attched the hoses to the 1rst stage then you should be fine just of course make sure everything works as its supposed to out of the water. sounds like the screws (hoses) hold this plate in place if it moves when they are out. g'luck bud.

Solly, quick question. Is the metal plate sitting loosely on a piece of rubber looking material?

Do you see it in this photo?

Solly, you basically just adjusted your Intermediate Pressure adjustment, which typically does not get adjusted without an Ip guage being connected in series to one of your LP appendages (2nd, Octo, LP Inflator, etc. If you do not have access to an IP guage you will need to take it to your LDS in order to reset the IP. Do not dive with this regulator until you do.

Agreed, you adjusted the IP ..... you will have to have the IP re-adjusted before diving with your new reg.
If you don't have a Poseidon dealer nearby anyone with an IP gauge can do it for you. Better still get one of your own....I think Leisure Pro have them for less than $20.

Glad we could help.

Make sure you do NOT dive the regulator until you have had the Intermediate Pressure set correctly.

You have not damaged the unit, however, it may not function correctly and is considered unsafe until it has been set back to specs.

Enjoy the new reg! :D
