Just got back from Galapagos....

Got back last night from an 11 day Aggressor charter. My first thought on my first dive was it's a lot like California, with tropicals. Add kelp and it would be just like home. Well, except for the hammerheads and whale sharks

Truly an amazing place, both topside and underwater. You have to be a pretty confident and competent diver to enjoy it fully, but I think California is about as good a preparation for it as you can get.

Awesome...292 days til Cocos? I'm going on the Undersea Hunter July 29th... Can't wait! Hopefully Galapagos after that.

Welcome back, ChrisM. Hope to get down there within the next year or so. My buddy Andrea wants to do Cocos early next year. A lot of money and it wouldn't even be a new continent for me to notch my dive belt with!
