This is something I have experienced in the past. I was just a young dumb slow turtle.There are many ways for a shark to manipulate it's prey. Very very slowly draining it's victim of all his worldly possessions.

I am sure if I was being chased by these sharks I would swim slower than my buddy and succumb to a slow happy smiling death
