( oceanic depth guage, n pressure gauge / 2 stage air.. regulators . have been used for about 15 dives.. and im a NEWBIE.. i relly want to go diving.. not deep sea divin jus shore diving.. do you guys think that would be oK?.. as for myself i do not know how everything is used.. but i can learn.. im jus so excited to try it out because it look so Cool.. lol.. and i bought it all for 750$?.. is that a good price to pay?..

Sounds like you got a deal, but I highly recommend you take it to a local dive shop and have them inspect it thoroughly before using it. Also sounds like you may have not gone through any training yet, sorry if I am wrong, but if you haven't you definitely need to take a certification course before heading to the shore to try it out.

From reading this post and your other post on the board, I am getting the feeling that you are not yet certified to dive? Get trained!

I agree with Wendy, from the content of your post I do not believe you are certified.

If you are not, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DIVE !!!!!!

When properly trained, this is a very cool, very safe sport.

Without proper training, you could easily KILL YOURSELF..

Please get to a Dive shop & sign up for a class NOW.

At minimum, you will need Open Water training - which involves self study, classroom time, pool time, and 4 dives in the ocean, all under the guidance of an instructor, before diving.

Dive training for $25 does NOT sound like open water training. Please post a link to what you have found, and someone can explain it for you.

Scuba is great fun, but it *can* kill you. More easily than you might think.

No store is going to rent you tanks or give you airfills without producing a certification card first, so the gear without the certification is unfortunately not much use - get the training.
