I am a winemaker. I have a bottle of a 2007 homemade Colorado Cabernet Sauvignon that is anxious to be consumed. (notice how I avoided the use of drunk) Anyway, does anyone know if I would be able to bring it with me and enjoy it while vacationing on Roatan New Years eve?

Thanks for your comments

Customs upon entry will have no problem.

Read up on the TSA regs, you're going to have to check it through wrapped in your wetsuit.

Drink it after your 11:59 p.m. night dive. ;)

Thanks for the info. Pulling the cork after a night dive is exactly what I had in mind. Join me if you can, I should be able to squeeze one more glass out of the bottle! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

My wife is a wine drinker and we regularly bring wine in our checked luggage, never had a problem and have probably brought 20 or so bottles over the years, NOW Peanut butter is different, I really did not think it was a liquid or gel so I had it in my carry on, but TSA felt differently.
