I've only been about 4 feet up it ( I didn't have cave line and directional arrows on me), but I assume you could swim all the way up to the pumping station on shore. I actually avoid this site during heavy rain since the pipe is still in use during overflow conditions (our storm drains are connected to our sewer system). I think this pipe gets used about once or twice a year at the most. In the book "Wrecks of Southern Vancouver Island", the UASBC describes swimming through bits of toilet paper and recogniseable feces in Enterprise Channel back when this was one of the main sewer outfalls (about 20 years ago).
