So our July DWNDD(Ditch Work N Dive Day) will be on Wednesday July 15th on the Peace headed to beautiful San Miguel. This trip is running with a limited load so everyone will sleep comfortably and we'll all have plenty of room to stretch out. One of the best parts about jumping on the Peace to San Miguel is that they try to get to the least dove spots on the island. Last time we made it out to Richardson's Reef which is a few miles past San Miguel and it was unreal. The fish are huge, more abundant and the marco life is spectacular.
I was here a few weeks ago with Reef Check and on our first dive on any give rock there were dozens of hermissendas and I'm not exaggerating. So it's a great place for macro photography as well.
Destination: San Miguel Island
When: Wednesday, July 15th, departs Midnight Tuesday Night
Where: Peace Boat out of Ventura
Cost: $155 includes food/air for 4 dives. Nitrox is extra.
