July 4 weekend - Cat on Sat

I think I saw someplace that Jan will be on Cat for the weekend. Jake and I will be in Avalon on Saturday, 7/2 for the day. Going over on the 7:todamnearly boat from 'pedro, and coming back later that evening.

This is really about drilling with the new suit in the park (for me) and getting Jake's buoyancy dialed in with a new weighting set up. We'll probably get in 3 or 4 dives - two will be working, 1 or 2 for play. If anyone's around, come say HI!

Hey, Ken. Was actually planning to be home that weekend diving at the Park but it is dive buddy Andrea's birthday so I'm heading over to the "Big Island" for a party. Will be the first Fourth of July I've missed in years. Hope you have a great day of diving. Vis has been improving recently.

I've heard rumors of GBS in the park recently. Any truth? I wish I was going away got the 4th - too much to do before my real trip on the 8th.

Yes they are back. I've done so little diving this spring that I haven't had my first sighting yet, but they're been at least one courting couple and several smaller ones seen with some regularity. I'll be diving this weekend and hopefully I'll get some more video.
