Oh, I didn't mean to dis Sundive! But you're obviously someone who likes looking for the little critters, and so am I.

Great shots Mark. Looks like the 60mm worked fine for macros and fish portraits as well. Any problems getting light on the subject with the focal distance so close to the port? Have you used the 60mm AF-D? How do the two compare. I have the AF-D.

Hi Larry.

I dont have any problems getting light onto the subject as I basically move my strobes (2x DS125's) close to the port. There is issues when a subject is in a hard location but you get that also with a 105mm.

I use the 60mm AF-D as I think its a sweeter lens compared to the AF-S. Its also alot cheaper. But both lenses are very sharp.

Have a look at this comparision: Nikon 60mm AF-D vs AF-S

Those pics are great! Did you try out the video mode at all? What housing were you using?

Hi Mike

I havn't had a go with the video underwater as it was only the 4 time I have taken it out. I am keen to give it a good try especially with a wide angle and clear water.

I am using a Ikelite housing also.

Regards Mark
