Join us on Tuesday, April 12th. Our guest speaker will be Phil Walker. Phil Walker, a past treasurer of the dive club, has been diving since 1988 and has logged more than 500 dives. He is certified for advanced open water, advanced nitrox and decompression diving. A certified rescue diver, he has been fortunate to have participated in 11 rescues. In June of 2010, while vacationing with his son, Phil became a victim when he suffered from Immersion Pulmonary Edema on a routine dive off the coast of North Carolina. He was saved by his training, the right medical intervention dictated by DAN, and some of the best dive buddies anywhere. Phil now blogs about dive fitness at fit2dive.blogspot.com.
