Johnson Point- South Sound

Has anyone dove off of Johnson Point, north of Olympia, in the south sound? Just moved there......

I haven't, but came up with Tolmie Underwater State Park as a shore dive and Itsami Ledge as a boat dive.

As Lynne suggested, there are quite a few boat dives that are not far from Johnson point, but Tolmie is the only real shore dive in the area that I know of.

Other nearby boat dives would be the Taylor Bay Wreck and Taylor Bay Tug, which are just 2 miles north of Johnson Point, along with Steamboat Island Wall.

I have done a few exploratory dives off of Johnson Point, and the bottom was fairly barren.

I've free dived Tolmie State Park many many times not really all that much to see except the reef. Like said the bottom in that area kind of barren.

Yes, I have found about the same thing cruzin the net......and was lookking for someone who had dove the point. Wondered if it was barren. Thanks for the input!
