The air was cold and the water was...well, the water was cold also. Not too bad, though, once I got acclimated to it. I had a 2.5mm shorty under a 3mm full and gloves. It was right at 70 on the surface and 67 at 37'. On the plus side, there were only maybe 10 people there including myself. When I got there at 9:00, there was a very cool "smoke on the water" effect going on. The water is kinda murky though, due to "turnover" and there weren't very many fish out playing either.

Also, in the underwater golf tournament, is anyone playing a Molitor 1? I found one in the rough, but left it. If it was yours, I'd suggest you take a drop.

Derick,
Sorry we missed you, Kenny and I were out for one quick dive at 11. The dive
wasn't too bad, it was getting out of the water with the wind that about froze
me to death! I recorded mid to low 60's on our dive, I guess it is time to get the
7mm out to finish up the year. The dry suit is not in my budget at this time.

If you find a Top Flight #1 let me know, my golf game has never been very good
around water hazards, never fails, my golf balls seem to be water seeking!

Well it looks like the dry suit may be coming out for the 28th. Water temps look good but I don't think the weather is going to be all that good.
So how is the scuba golf going? Any new additions? I don't think I totally got the hang of this on one dive... other than the 5' drop sucks for that small of a hole. :D

I've got the materials to make another 3 holes. I hope to have at least 6 holes
installed next spring. A 9 hole course may be to ambitious, we will see. The test
hole drops confirmed that the par will be set by the foot, par 3 = 3' drop, 4 = 4'.
I don't know about par 5 holes yet, like you said, it is tough to get the ball to drop
into the hole from that height. Maybe just one of the holes will be a par 5.

We got out of the water right at 11:15, so I was still there. You weren't driving the gold Chevy truck were you? If I had known you guys were out there, I would've stopped by to say hi. I'll be out there on the 28th taking the Rescue Diver course and I'll definitely track you guys down then.

Par 5 with a slightly bigger hole?
Anybody heard more about the class on the 28th?? I got the email but Divin Hoosier and I have a bit of a drive. He posted asking time but so far there has been no reply.

OUCH!! That means I have to get up at 5:30 am? I will feel like I am back to work again..

What?

You said, it only took 2 1/2 hours to Joe's..... It took two hours from my places based on my driving though..... LOL~~~

It takes about 3 hours. Still means getting up around 5:30.
