Diver dies after being pulled from water

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A man is dead after he got into trouble in the waters around the Kalaeloa area.

According to Honolulu police, the 40-year-old was out diving around 10 p.m. Thursday.

Officials said that bystanders pulled him out of the water, and he was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he later died.

HPD said there were no suspicious circumstances or signs of foul play.
