Hello
I've just bought the new Jetstream reg/octo combo and pretty keen to try it out in the pool first. But I heard that before that I need to take them to a technician to do some fine tuning of the breathing level. Is it true that I cann't use them right out of the box like other regs? I've tried to contact Poseidon through their site, but didn't get any reply so far. Thanks.

If it's new I don't know why you can't use it right out of the box. I did with mine. The used one's I've bought I had serviced but you should do that with any life support you buy used. Now, you may find the reg breathes a little stiff that shallow which could be adjusted for. Or you might find the IP is set just fine. If they're new from a reputable dealer I wouldn't worry about it. Especially in a pool.

Had no trouble with mine right out of the box.

Also got replies from Posiedon when I emailed the a question. They are usually very responsive.

Should be fine.

Depends on the circumstances of your ebay purchase, as to how I'd proceed prior to actual use; but again new in box should be fine.

That is the email that I've used.

Let us know how it goes.

OK, as soon as I receive the reg I'll check it, but I was told that it was brand new. Again, thanks for the reply.
