I saw this rather large jelly (15-20 cm diameter bell?) in the Bligh Water around Fiji.

I think it is some kind of Crown Jellyfish. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Crown( otherwise known as Helmet) jellyfish.

Crown Jelly, Cephea cephea.

Were you on the Nai'a? I often see them while on their itinerary.

We were diving with Wananavu out of Rakiraki. According to my dive log, we saw it at the "Wheat Fields" site in the Vatu-i-ra channel. I posted a video of the trip in the GoPro Forum if you are interested. Here's the link: Fiji Dive Trip - YouTube
