My brother and I (daxter) are planning on going to Jefferson Sunday the 23rd at 10am, if anyone is interested and able to do so. I see that some people can't make it this weekend but thought I'd throw it up here. I'm adding this to the other Jefferson thread too.

Sean

the first post said " the cost is very reasonable". That is why I asked. Didn't know if things were different here on the mainland.

How often do you all do clean-ups? Just during the international clean up day or do you get together and do your own. I am going to have to get dry suit certified before I do any diving here.

Isn't free reasonable? It is to me. Sorry, I probably shouldn't have that vague. I didn't want people to think that all the gear was free. With that said, another LDS will be doing a cleanup in Boulder next Sat 9/29. Free tanks, weights and park pass. I'm not sure what else is included.

tmurray-- i suppose i wasn't thinking about gear rental. free is very reasonable- best price ever : ) !! I won't be able to do any diving until my household gear arrives seeing as how my c-cards are packed in it. Can any of the LDS's look up the certs on the PADI website?
My BCD is packed away, but I did bring my reg., wetsuit and fins. What does it cost to rent a BCD?

So Sean or Tom, how was the diving? What was the water temp? Vis? I'm waiting for your report before I commit to Oct 6 dive trip. I'll be diving wet.:11:

Hi Rick, just to let everyone know I will post a trip report about Jefferson in a new thread.

It's been a while since I last checked, but you should be able to look up your own PADI cert on their website. Try:

https://www.padimembers.com/sforms/rcol2/

Any PADI dive shop can also help you with replacement PADI card.
