just thought some of his loyal fans might like this update...
several measures later, it looks like he's between 5th and 10th percentile and creeping up the lines, so that's wonderful. that should mean he'll be 5'6" or so if he stays 10th-ish, and that's good enough for me. of course, he could keep on catching up and be taller, but at least 10th means i won't worry any about growth hormone.
but the BIG NEWS is...we're trialling off his thyroid medicine, starting tomorrow! after 4-6 weeks, we'll have some labs drawn & see if he is really done. so...
tomorrow, 1/13/11, will be the first time in his life my son won't have to take any medicines.
