We might have an opportunity to do some diving around the Jacksonville Beach area in June. Can anyone tell me what to expect--water temps, currents, etc. Could you recommend a PADI dive shop where some friends of ours can get their open water dives completed for the certs?

Thanks!
Janet

I confess, I haven't ever been diving here and I live here. I can suggest a LDS, Atlantic Pro-Dive. They are located in Jax Beach. I got my certification through them and use them for all equipment servicing. Family run shop and they are nice. They also run local dives through the summer and can give you more specifics about the dive conditions in June.
