I'll throw my .02 in on the thread that's starting to look like the lightbulb thread.
Zeagle makes great quality products. They stand behind them, and they stand up.
To the original thread starter. I used to dive the BC you got for the holidays, the Oceanic. It was fine for recreational. I started diving larger singles, including steels. It didn't offer the stability I needed. I switched to a BP and singles wing and it made all the difference in the world and made for a stable heavy singles platform. As I moved into doubles, I swapped out the singles donut wing for a doubles horshoe wing. I find the bp/w combo very versatile and comfortable. As I moved into tech, I quickly realized that there is no way a traditional back inflation fabric bc would handle tech doubles.
So, buy what works for you now. Think about buying what will work for you tomorrow. And don't worry yet about will work for you next year, because you may decide not to go there. You can always sell a high quality bc or bp/singles wing down the road.
I own a Zeagle drysuit, ZX50 regulator, and knife. I'm sure their BC's and BP's and Wings are all top notch too.
